  • First CRC is denominationally affiliated with the Christian Reformed Church of North America (CRCNA), which includes just over one thousand congregations across the United States and Canada. About 75 percent of the churches are in the United States; 25 percent are in Canada. We’re one of only a few remaining binational denominations.   • Starting in 1877, Hanford quickly grew from a settlement into a town due to railway interest. Hanford quickly became a central trading post and has continued to grow to approximately 56,000 people today.   • Hanford Christian School has been dedicated to quality, Christian education since 1944. HCS praises God for the opportunity to use God's Word as a blueprint for our lives and the lives of our children. They believe that the aim of Christian education is to relate the Christian faith and Biblical teachings directly to all of knowledge and the practical application of that knowledge in daily life. Many families from First attend the Hanford Christian School.

  • Founded in 1876, Calvin Theological Seminary is the oldest denominational ministry and the sole theological seminary of the Christian Reformed Church in North America. A majority of ordained ministers who serve in CRCNA congregations have received their primary theological education at CTS (including all of our Pastors: Joel, Justin and Lambert).

Barnabas Foundation provides guidance and assistance to Christians of all ages and generations to help them grow in their understanding of biblical stewardship and experience the joy of living a generous life.
